About Me and My Practice
I’m Lorelei Ark, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. My work centers on guiding people toward clarity, connection, and authentic living. At Intuitive Direction, my approach is intuitive and depth-oriented—grounded in compassion and a spirit of play.
Through counseling, I guide individuals and couples who want to better understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns shaping their lives. This may include gaining clarity around a life transition, relationship dynamic, or recurring emotional pattern; navigating grief or a breakup; deepening self-understanding; or creating space for more fulfilling intimacy and connection.
This work creates space for insight, transformation, and greater emotional and relational awareness. I draw from depth-oriented, symbolic, and relational perspectives that attend to both conscious experience and what may be unfolding beneath the surface. Clients are supported in becoming more attuned to their inner world, recognizing meaningful patterns, and developing greater trust in their own perceptions and intuitive knowing.

Individual Counseling
Rate: $140 (50-minute session)
Clarity, self-trust, and meaningful movement.
Individual counseling for people navigating transition, relationship concerns, grief, intimacy, or recurring emotional patterns who want to understand themselves more deeply.
Through reflective dialogue, depth-oriented exploration, and attention to emotional, relational, and intuitive signals, sessions help you recognize what is shaping your experience, make sense of inner conflict, and bring important patterns into clearer focus.
This work supports greater emotional awareness, stronger self-trust, and a more grounded sense of how you want to move forward, while creating space for a life that feels more authentic, connected, and meaningful.
Couples Counseling
Rate: $160 (50-minute session)
Clarity, reconnection, and more intentional ways of relating.
Couples counseling for partners who feel disconnected, caught in recurring patterns, or stuck in painful relationship dynamics and want to understand what is happening beneath the surface.
Sessions explore the emotional history, protective responses, unmet needs, and unspoken meanings shaping the relationship. The work helps each partner understand their own experience, recognize the cycle between them, and communicate with greater openness and care.
Counseling may address recurring conflict, trust concerns, emotional disconnection, physical intimacy, and major relationship transitions. The goal is to support greater understanding, stronger connection, and more intentional ways of relating.
Reduced-Rate Availability
Reduced-fee option is available on an honor basis for clients who need a lower rate to make counseling more financially manageable.

Open Path rates for verified members: Individual counseling $70 | Couples counseling $80
Intuitive Direction is a private-pay practice. I do not bill insurance directly.
I offer counseling for both individuals and couples. All sessions are held virtually using a secure telehealth platform. You may book a session directly through my online scheduler.
